Multan Cricket Stadium History
Multan Cricket Stadium hosted its first international match in 2001 when Pakistan took over Bangladesh. Interestingly Bangladesh is the team involved when Multan Cricket Stadium hosted its first ever One Day International match in 2003.
Multan Cricket Stadium Major Matches
Multan is the home ground of Pakistan former test captain Inzamam Ul Haq and the crowd of Multan also witnessed one of the best test innings of Inzamam ul Haq who scored 132 not out in 2003 against Bangladesh while chasing a target of 262 runs in 4th innings and ensured that Pakistan does not lose a test match against minnows of cricket.
Another test match special was from the bat of Indian Verinder Sehwag when he scored a triple century against Pakistan and 2003/04 and made India win comfortably against the hosts.
