Sohaib Maqsood Ruled Out of T20 World Cup
Pakistan middle order batsman Sohaib Maqsood ruled of ICC T20 World Cup 2021. Sohaib sustained an injury during ongoing national T20 cup for Southern Punjab who he also led during the tournament. His replacement will be decided soon.
Pertinent to note that Sohaib recently won his place back in Pakistan national side after impactful performances in domestic cricket and PSL. He was also awarded as best batsman of PSL 6 edition.
As expected, he has been ruled out from the tour with a grade 3 hamstring injury. Sohaib Maqsood, Saud Shakeel, and Agha Salman are the potential options at the bench to replace him in playing XI. #ENGvPAK https://t.co/DnYG5shp06

In addition he also captured the record of most sixes by a batsman in national T20 cup when he hit his 92nd sixer in the tournament history.
However Sohaib international comeback was not much successful as he didn’t play any long innings in but still he was kept in Pakistan’s squad due to his power hitting ability.
