Karachi Kings: Mr. Salman Iqbal of ARY Group is CEO of Karachi Kings. Winning 17 of the 42 matches played with win percentage of 42.68 making them to stay at 4th slot amongst the most successful teams of Pakistan Super League. Twice they needed to settle with 3rd spot in PSL.

Lahore Qalandars: Owned by Mr. Fawad Rana of Qatar Lubricants is the only team to have played all editions of Pakistan Super League but never ended their season amongst the top 3 sides of the edition. National Stadium Karachi: National Stadium Karachi hosted its first international match in 1956 vs India. It has been already announced that final of PSL 5 will be played in National Stadium Karachi which has the seating capacity nearly 35000 spectators. Few notable players hails from Karachi include Javed Miandad, Hanif Mohammad, Rashid Latif, Sarfaraz Ahmed etc.

Gaddafi Stadium Lahore: Gaddafi Stadium Lahore made its international debut in 1959 when Pakista hosted Australia. With seating capacity of nearly 27000 spectators Gaddafi Stadium has rich history in Pakistan cricket as it had also hosted the final of 1996 cricket world cup jointly hosted by Pakistan, India and Sri Lanka. Lahore has also produced renown inetrnatinal crickets include likes of Wasim Akram, Andul Qadir, Kamran Akmal, etc.

Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium: hosted its first international match in 1993 against Zimbabwe. Rawalpindi cricket stadium can accommodate 2800 cricket fans. Cricketers like Shoaib Akhtar, Moin Khan and Sohail Tanvir were the products of Rawalpindi.

Multan Cricket Stadium: One of the newest stadium as it got inaugurated in 2001 when it hosted test match between Pakistan and Zimababw. It also has the seating capacity of around 35000 spectators.  Inzamam ul Haq, Mohammad Zahid, Mustaq Ahmed and Waqar Younis are some cricketers who played their initial cricket in Multan.

Criteria for Points are as below:

  • A win will guarantee total of 2 points to the winning side.
  • Losing team is not entitled to take any points.
