Shikhar Dhawan ruled out of T20 series vs New Zealand
India has maintained almost the same squad which have faced Sri Lanka for T20. Rohit Sharma has been recalled to T20 squad after getting much needed rest form the nonstop cricket he has been playing for team India. Like Rohit Sharma, another player Mohammad Shami also gets a recall to Indian team in shortest format of the game.
Al-rounder Hardik Pandya who has been nursing injury from some time and is still out of the national side and may be considered for ODI and Test matches scheduled later.
Explosive opener Shikhar Dhawan who sustained injury while fielding in 3rd ODI against Australia has been ruled out from the T20 series against New Zealand, despite named in squad announced initially by BCCI. His replacement hasn’t been announced as yet.
