Hashim Amla Appointed as Batting Mentor of Peshawar Zalmi

Former South Africa batsman Hashim Amla has been appointed as Peshawar Zalmi batting mentor for PSL 2020.


Hashim Amla who recently retired from International Cricket had represented South Africa in 349 international matches (including Test, ODI & T20) in a career spanned over 15 years at top level. Amla has a phenomenal record in international cricket and scored 9282 runs in test cricket, 8113 runs in ODI cricket and 1277 runs in T20 cricket for Proteas respectively.

Amla aggregate of 18000 international runs includes 55 international centuries and also 88 times he crossed 50 runs mark at top level during an innings. Hashim Amla’s top score in International cricket is 309 not out.

Other than international cricket Hashim Amla also represented various teams in different leagues and first class cricket around the globe including Barbados Tridents in Caribbean Premier League, Cape Cobras in South African T20 League, Khulna Tigers in BPL, Kings XI Punjab in IPL, Trinbago Knight Riders in CPL.

Hashim Amla also had stints with Derbyshire and Essex in English County Circuit. Hashim Amla also lead South Africa at International level during his career and his presence in PSL 2020 will definitely help Peshawar Zalmi players in developing as well as boost Peshawar Zalmi chances in Pakistan Super League 2020.
